Hi My Loves,
Recently I travelled to the lavish Marrakech in Morocco for 4 days…
If there is only one word I could describe Marrakech in, it would be *detail*
I highly recommend going to Morocco between March and June, when it is sunny. Marrakech is full of culture, traditions and most known for its famous Moroccan cuisines; Tagine and couscous (I’m not going to lie, I wasn’t a fan). Tagine is literally sold in every restaurant in Marrakech, and if you like to experience new food, I would say try it!!
I would certainly keep in mind that there are two parts of Marrakech, the old city and the new city. I was not aware of this before I flew out due to lack of time my friends and I had to research places to go. My whole trip to Marrakech was spontaneous and we planned the days as they came. The old city is around Medina, which is where I stayed (at the stunning 3 storey building called Riad L’heure D’ete) and the new city is where most tourists are and that is called Gueliz.
Here are some of the beautiful places I visited in Marrakech. Please note all these pictures were taken by me, on my most trustworthy iPhone… Enjoy x
Palais de la Bahia
Palais El Badiî
Mosquée Moulay El Yazid
Tombeaux Saadiens
Koutoubia Mosque

Ménara Mall
Les restaurants de Marrakech
Buddha Bar
Le Comptoir Darna
Al Baraka Restaurant
Azar Restaurant (my favourite)
And finally our extravagant hotel Riad L’Heure d’Eté
I would highly recommend taking some time to enjoy the jacuzzi on the terrace, or booking an hour long tonic massage (swedish/deep tissue), and if you really want to spoil yourself, add a hammam to your itinerary.
I hope you have had a wonderful 2016 and wish you an amazing 2017.
Thank you for reading!!
Love Bhav… x
P.S. My travel plans for 2017 are looking awesome already, stay tuned for more blogposts!
