Everyone is Beautiful (Birthday Fundraise)

Hi My Loves,

It is that time of the year again. Spring is now here and my birthday is approaching soon…

I am personally very blessed to have the life I have been given, but not everyone is as blessed. There are people out there who are suffering and it hurts me the most when I see children in pain.

I did a huge Charity event for my 21st Birthday with GOSHCC (check it out here: www.justgiving.com) and I will forever be grateful to everyone who contributed to this massive moment in not just mine, but their lives too. For everyone to participate in the GOSHCC fundraise journey in 2014 meant they saved one child’s life along the way and they should all be VERY happy about that.

I wanted to discuss the word beautiful. Beautiful is defined as possessing qualities that give great pleasure or satisfaction to see, hear, think about etc. Social media has portrayed the word beautiful in a certain way, which as a result has made the world feel the most insecure they have ever been.
Apparently beautiful now means being slim, looking a certain way, having your hair in a certain way, wearing make up everyday because the world obliges you too… I personally think that is utter bullshit, but a lot of people are affected by it.

Children who fight cancer obviously lose hair with chemotherapy, and Little Princess Trust helps them to gain confidence by providing them wigs. If this puts a smile on the children’s faces, I am fully supporting the Little Princess Trust.

I will be donating my hair to the Little Princess Trust in Summer, and I hope we can all help the children in one way or another to keep those smiles on their faces forever, while they battle for a better life. Even £1 would make such a big difference to this charity.

It is important that everybody remembers how blessed they are in life and that they are grateful for what God has given them. We are all unique and beautiful in our own ways, and we should NEVER let social media tell us different.

Thank you so much,

Love Bhav x
